Equipment Needed
- 1 saucepan
- 2 cocktail pick or toothpick
- 2 mugs of your choice
Ingredients
- 2 cups hot water or brewed tea of your choice (black tea, chai tea or herbal tea)
- 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option), to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks (plus more for garnish, optional)
- 4-6 whole cloves
- 1 inch fresh ginger, thinly sliced or grated (optional, for extra kick)

Directions
- In a small saucepan, bring the 2 cups of water to a gentle simmer with the cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and sliced ginger (if using). Simmer for 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- If using tea bags, remove the saucepan from the heat and steep your tea of choice in the spiced water for 3-5 minutes, then remove them.
- In each of the mugs, add 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
- Carefully pour the hot spiced mixture into the mugs and stir well until the honey is completely dissolved.
